Saturday, October 17

“A Reverend and a Timely Discovery”

Special Presentation by Pete Wiggin

This lecture, presented by Peter Wiggin, will offer a whole new perspective on a very old, very controversial document, "The Wheelwright Deed of 1629." Years of independent research and mapping have resulted in a whole new perspective on what this document might actually describe. Wiggin’s analysis offers an alternate narrative to the accepted norm and may go far in explaining why this document has been so little understood for so long. After the lecture, local historian James Lacefield will lead the group on a guided tour through the main complex of America's Stonehenge, discussing the property's 4,000-year-old history and its inhabitants over the centuries.
