The community pool will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. free of charge. Concession stand at McClellan Field offers up summer favorites like hot dogs and hamburgers, ice cream and drinks from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Live music adds to the festive mood before the fabulous 9:30 fireworks at Dana L. Salem Celebrates the 4th 2018 - Salem, MA

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a musical act performing on the main stage. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:15 p.m. and are followed by a two-hour pops concert by the Hillyer Festival Orchestra, a 40-piece ensemble with vocal soloists performing opera to Broadway favorites. At 9:15 p.m. a magnificent fireworks display is launched from Derby Wharf accompanied by live music by the orchestra.

The Morristown 4th of July parade will begin promptly at 11 a.m. at the corner of Harrel and Munson streets and end at Peoples Academy. Events after the parade at Peoples Academy will include touch-a-truck, the Duck Race, Zumba, a frog jumping contest, a wiffle ball contest and more. There will be live music, vendors and fireworks at dusk.

Top of The Hub Celebrates the Fourth of July

Montpelier Independence Day Celebration 2018

 Montpelier on July 4 Many activities will be happening downtown throughout the day and more than 40 food and craft vendors will be on State Street. Events begin at 3 p.m. with the Family Olympics on the State House lawn. Olympic events include a beach ball push through a maze, a bouncy ball relay, a scooters race, and silly versions of tennis, hurdles, the javelin throw and more.
The Montpelier Mile Road Race begins at 6 p.m. as the opener to the July 4 Parade. After the parade there’s a concert on the State House lawn and fireworks show.

Boston Pops July 4 concert Conductor Keith Lockhart directs the Boston Pops Orchestra at the Hatch Shell, on the Esplanade. The headliner for the 2018 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is singer/songwriter Rachel Platten, joined by singer Rhiannon Giddens, folk music duo Indigo Girls. Actor and dancer Rita Moreno, who played Anita in “West Side Story,” will make a special appearance in honor of the Leonard Bernstein centennial tribute.
The same program is repeated on July 4, with the addition of a spectacular fireworks display over the Charles River after the musical program. The best place for viewing the fireworks is along Memorial Drive on the Cambridge side of the Charles River. Fireworks are on July 4, only. Seating for both nights is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Bayside Inflatable Water Park will be open for rentals.
From 5 to 9 p.m. vendors will also be selling food, drinks, glow sticks, and more. Musical entertainment by The Hitmen from 7 to 9 p.m. Fireworks will take place at dusk from the Bayside softball field. Independence Limited Rides with Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad

Celebrate Independence Day with a waterfront train ride along Casco Bay. Trains will depart on the hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the train will depart from Ocean Gateway for shuttle rides to the Independence Day festivities on the Eastern Promenade, with a drop-off at Cutter Street. Trains will depart every half hour between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. After the fireworks, the train will return wristband-ticket passengers back to the Ocean Gateway platform. Wristbands are $5 per person. Wristbands may be purchased only at the museum leading up to the event, or on the train.
