The fairs and festivals of New England offer a vast menu of live music, food, shopping, and entertainment for children and families in everey season of the year. Late summer into fall is the season for the agricultural fairs like The Big E and the Topsfield Fair in Massachusetts, the Fryeburg Fair in Maine, and the Brooklyn Fair in Connecticut. Race The Legend! - May 26th-28th

Kick off the summer season at the Killington Stage Race on Memorial Day weekend (May 26 -28). Set against the cool, lush landscape of Vermont’s Green Mountains, the KSR kicks off Saturday at the Killington Skyeship on Route 4, with a circuit race featuring an exciting sprint every lap at the Sunrise Base Area on Route 100. Sunday's stage 2 features an 11-mile individual time trial starting near the Long Trail Brewery. On Monday, the 62-mile "Queen Stage" begins, featuring challenging climbing with the brutal climb up East Mountain Road and finishing at Killington's K-1 Base area. Hear sea chanteys from many cultures and learn how they helped coordinate work on ships during this one-of-a-kind sea song event that has been a Mystic Seaport tradition since 1979. The 33rd annual Sea Music Festival features performances at various locations throughout the grounds of this living history maritime museum.
