Take a look behind the scenes of NH’s first distillery producing premium vodka from locally grown apples.
Our distillery viewing gallery offers a unique glimpse into the production process of distilled spirits. This new facility is adjacent to the wine tasting bar and gift shop. Established in 1994, Flag Hill offers an array of local New England products and the opportunity to select and taste from over 17 varieties of red, white, fruit and dessert wines made from our NH vineyard, including NH’s first port. We are open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM, year round.

Greenvale Vineyards, is located along the beautiful Sakonnet River in Portsmouth, RI six miles from downtown Newport. Greenvale produces approximately 3500 cases of estate grown wines. The 50 acre farm, listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places has been owned by the same family since 1863. Visit the restored Stable which is now the Tasting Room and taste the award winning wines. Vineyard tours are 2 p.m., daily. Newport Vineyards is a family owned winery, founded in 1978. Paul and John Nunes, whose local roots date back to 1917, purchased the winery in 1995. Since that time, the winery has grown to 50 acres of varietal and hybrid grapes. Visitors are offered public tours at 1 and 3 pm, seven days a week. These include a tour in the vineyards, a behind the scenes look at the winemaking process and a tasting of five wines. The winery features an art gallery and retail shop with wine accessories and signature clothing. Private tours and tastings for groups of ten or more are available. Newport Vineyards specializes in rehearsal dinners, corporate affairs and custom labels. The winery hours are Monday thru Saturday 10-5 and Sunday noon-5 year around.
